West Lochwood Civic Association (WELCA) is a Civic Association located in
unincorporated Jefferson County in Colorado.
Basically,
we are surrounded by the City of Lakewood and are bounded by Mississippi Ave. to the North, Jewell Ave. to the South, Kipling
Blvd. to East and Union Blvd. to the West.
REALTORS AND HOMEOWNERS: WELCA has covenants that apply to all homeowners.
Homeowners are held responsible to make sure renters follow the covenants. To view a map showing WELCA's location, the different filings within WELCA, as well as the covenants for each
filing, see "Covenants and Maps" section.
The WELCA Association operation is conducted by a non-paid volunteer Board.
If you are interested in volunteering time at a community event, distribute newsletters or flyers, or serve on the Board,
we welcome you. The funds for our operation come from a voluntary $30 yearly dues per home.
Monthly WELCA meetings are typically held on the first Tuesday of each month. Check the "Meetings & Events Calendar" section
for the specific dates. The meeting is conveniently held in a conference room at the Lochwood Christian Fellowship
building (located at the North East Corner of Union Blvd. and Florida Ave.) from 7:00 PM to 8:00PM.
